If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that Kami has been one of my besties for a while. We both studied Apparel Merchandising/ Business at Baylor University and worked at the same company right out of college!
Kami is one of the sweetest and most encouraging people you will ever meet. She genuinely cares about the well being others, which exudes into everything she does. Though Kami studied fashion, she has always had an infatuation with fitness...or should I just say Karena and Katrina;)
As life goes on, we often make career changes and this past year, Kami did just that! She quit her fashion job and pursued personal training. This past summer, she received her certification (on the first try I might add) and began creating her brand. She knew that she wanted to help others feel empowered about their self image, but didn't know what to call it. Upon brainstorming her husband stumbled onto the word "Kalon", a Greek word meaning "beauty more than skin deep". And just like that, The Kalon Life was born.
In Dallas and need healthy lifestyle tips? You're in luck! Kami is a trainer who won't make you feel bad about yourself. She may make you do burpees, but with how encouraging she is, you'll want to do them for her! One of the many things that Kami is great at is getting you out of your average workout monotony -we actually did the workout in this shoot at the Dallas Arboretum! Whether you just need a couple sessions to get you back on track or a whole package dedicated to what you want, Kami is your girl!
If there's a message that everyone needs to hear, it is Kalon's message. Beauty is more than skin deep and if more people realized it, the world would definitely be a better place.
