Jun 12 Your Cat's Thoughts on Their Litter Box

4 TIPS FOR A BETTER LITTER BOX

1. Unscented litter is best. This is super important, so listen up. I have a really good sniffer and can smell verrrrry well. Scented and “fragrance-free” have extra ingredients that I don’t actually need AND they mess with my nose. What is my preferred litter? I’m glad you asked! 2. Open litter boxes > hooded litter boxes. I don’t want that, and you don’t want that. PLUS, if it is open, it’s easier for you to scoop and easier for me to go. Done deal!

3. Empty my litter box daily. Please and thank you! I know that Cat’s Pride® Total Odor Control Unscented has up to a 10-day odor control built in but please, for the love of catnip, I like it clean.

4. Clean my actual litter box weekly. Don’t forget about this!! You clean your own toilet, don’t you? Can I have the same courtesy? If you don’t want to scrub it down, try Cat’s Pride® KatKit! The trays are disposable, so you can just give me a new one instead of breaking your back by cleaning (trust me, I’d rather have you spend time brushing and petting me) AND they are made from 100% recycled plastic and are recyclable, which creates minimum waste. Bonus tip: Because I’m feeling generous… have at least 1 litter box per cat please. We may use both, but it lets us have our space at the very least.
