Hey friends! Remember when I told ya a couple months ago about the circle bag trend? (catch up here!) Round purses or whatever you want to call them are H O T right now. The only problem? They are super summery, usually made of straw, and you can't bring them into fall. Not a huge problem, but when I buy a bag, I'd like for it to be versatile!
Whenever Elaine Turner launched her shelly circle purse in fall friendly hues, it made me so excited! I love a piece that you can carry from season to season. This one is navy leather with suede navy detailing - don't let the suede fool you, though! You can totally wear it through spring and summer, despite it being an old fashioned faux pas. I actually wrote about the rise of summer suede a little over a year ago. You can read that here. Even if you are unsure of sporting suede in the hotter months, it's not a lot- just pops of it here and there! Want to make it more summery, opt for the white version of the shelly bag. Oh and it also comes in cork and traditional snakeskin!
If you are unfamiliar with Elaine Turner, it's a brand based out of Texas with great quality and fun pieces. She's known mostly for her handbags, but there's also shoes, apparel, and accessories! I chose the navy version of the shelly bag, because I like picking more classic versions of trendy items, but really you can't go wrong with any hue! This is the perfect little bag that is great for a night on the town, or traveling and doing touristy things. It's big enough to hold my iPhone 7 plus, but not too big, ya know?
