Valentine's Day is a month away, y'all!! Nick saw me working on this post and was like..."why do you need to post that now? It's not that soon." And I was like yes it is!! I love Valentine's Day. My mom has an obsession with hearts, so it was always been a major holiday in our house. That being said...it was never really a romantic type of holiday for me. It was more about love in general! For besties, parents, and yes, significant others. I didn't do it last year, but typically I host a brunch for all my gal pals and in addition to that, I write valentines for everyone! This year I found these pretty gold heart ones at Target. There's something so special about receiving mail!
Anyway, I love giving gifts, so gift guides are my favorite. I rounded up some gift ideas for ya - 3 for your girlfriend or bestie and 1 for guys, becauuuuse yeah. If you don't find something specific, maybe at least it will spark an idea for a loved one! Click on any image below to be taken to the direct link. If it doesn't, just refresh the page and it should click through! I'll also list each item under the collage and talk about the product and why I suggested!
Nordgreen reached out to me and I thought their watched would be a great addition to this gift guide! They have wonderful pieces for him and her, plus you can really let your partner know you value your TIME together. Maybe corny, but oh so true! Nick and I both gave each other watches as a wedding gift, so I fully support the thought.

P.S. You could probably also use my Gift Guides for Him and Gift Guides for Her I did for Christmas! Everything you'll find below and on the gift guides I linked above are $200ish or less!
Heart Garland. This is just a fun little goodie - it is perfect for decorating your bar cart, desk, or shelving! You might just want to snag it for yourself;)
Minted Stationary. Writing letters is a lost art. Minted does a killer job with paper goods, so you know these will turn out beautiful! It's a great gift that can be personalized and used forever.
Heart Cutting Board. Not sure I would even want to cut anything on it, it is so darling! You can never have too many cutting boards, though;)
Kate Spade Trinket Tray. I love having one of these in every room of the house!
Heart Waffle Maker. My mom has a heart shaped waffle maker, so naturally I wanted one! We actually registered for/received this one as a wedding gift and I LOVE it!!
Heart Fuzzy Pillow. Throw pillows are an easy way to get into the holiday without much effort!
Riedel Vinum XL Glasses. These are Nick's favorite wine glasses -they are HUGE and great quality. I don't know about y'all, but I'm picky about my glassware with wine. These are perfection!
Don't Go Bacon My Heart Kitchen Towel. Probably even an easier way to decorate for the season! I love changing the towels out on my oven, per the holiday! I think they look pretty on my bar cart, too!
SKG Bread Maker. I've actually been looking at getting a bread maker, and I have read that this is the best bang for your buck. You can even do GF bread!
Wayfair Gold Bar Cart. This is the bar cart I own and I love it! The circle detail makes it special. A bar cart is just a really fun piece of furniture to have, even if you don't drink alcohol!
Side note - I think this is my favorite section, because I'm so into beauty right now! Everything listed is cruelty-free. I also believe everything is non-toxic/natural ingredients. The only one in question is the Fenty Lipgloss - I know some of the line is toxic, but from what I have found, the gloss isn't!
Plant Apothecary Get it On Body Wash. I received a Plant Apothecary body wash sample from Indie Beauty Box and LOVED it! I received the WAKE UP version and ever since I got that, I wanted to try out the GET IT ON scent. Perfect for V-day too;)
Rose Quartz Face Roller. I actually just started reading about face rollers, after my friend Molly at Fashion Veggie posted about one! I actually asked for a jade version for Valentine's day! The pink is so pretty, but I've read it works pretty much the same as the jade, if you are looking for a a cheaper option.
Fenty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Universal Lipgloss. I got this from White Elephant gift exchange at work and it really is a great gloss! Rihanna made it to look good on every skin tone - it is the perfect color that just adds a little pop to your look. AND something anyone can wear :)
Juice Beauty Lip Crayon. Chapsticks are my favorite, so that's why I love these! They moisturize and add a little bit of tint!
Lime Crime Hi-lite. I mentioned this on my January Favorites post. It is such a pretty palette and I am currently obsessed with it. It also has pretty packaging that any woman would love!
Lawless Lipstick. I first heard about this from Katey McFarlan of Chronicles of Frivolity, but my friend Natalie from The Fashion Hour recently posted about it, which made me remember that I had forgotten about it! It is a matte lipstick, but super creamy. I now have it in two shades!
Lakur by Londontown Nail Polish. I also mentioned this on my January Favorites. It's really hard to find 9-free nail polish, as well as cruelty free nail polish at that, so that is my main draw to the product, besides of course the pretty colors!
Herbivore Pink Clay Mask. I found Herbivore while reading Goop's blog! I actually picked this one because it was pink, but ordered their Brightening mask for myself. I've also read amazing things about their Blue Tansy mask, as well. You can get 15% off your order by using this link!
Mario Badescu Rose Water. This is the perfect little product that will freshen you up mid day, in addition to a load of other things, like setting your make-up or moisturizing dry hair.
Kate Spade Scarf. She can tie it on a purse, around her neck, or in her hair!
Heart Purse. One valentine's day I got a HUGE red heart purse - this made me think of it:) Plus, this one is black, so you can use it a lot more than the month of February!
Kate Spade Heels. These were too cute not to share. I love that they are your classic black sandal, with the sweetest little red heart on the back!
Rails Heart Button Down. Rails makes the best button down and this cute little heart design is classic! A bit of an investment, but the hearts are small enough, you can wear it year-round.
Baublebar Chateau Feather Earrings. I have the black shorter version and get SO many compliments on them, I wanted to try these. A fun Valentine's Day themed piece, but one that you can wear into spring!
Heart Necklace. Hearts are good to wear year-round, so I loved the look of this little necklace, as a gift! Get someone their initial or maybe your initial;)
Heart Bracelet. This is just the bracelet version of the necklace above! Just depends if the person likes bracelets or necklaces better...or maybe they need both!
Heart Shaped Sunglasses. These are perfect for her upcoming beach vacation and just summer in general!
Cuyana Mini Jewelry Holder. I have this and it is perfect for anything from your gym bag, to your carry-on. Maybe she needs this andddd something sparkley ;)
Pink Hunter Boots. One of my most popular posts is called Are Hunter Boots Worth the Investment and these pink ones are on major sale, so grab them while you can!
Cuyana Tote. I started out my Cuyana Collection with one of their classic totes - this one is a classic and can be used forever!
Kendra Scott Bracelet. I love Kendra's cinch bracelets like this. They come in a ton of colors, but I thought this rose gold one was the perfect neutral and great for v-day.
Kate Spade Phone Case. KS can do no wrong! This fun little case is perfection.
Rebecca Minkoff. Heart Purse. RM's leather purses are greatness - this one also comes in black if you'd like. I love the edgy zippers!
What I Love About You Book. I thought this book was SO sweet. Can defintely be for a girl, not just a guy. You fill in the blanks about the other person:) Personal and budget friendly!
Cork Globe. I liked this, because it's different from the push-pin wall maps and takes up less space!
Fossil Wallet. Nick got this for Christmas and he loves it! It's a great wallet and you can personalize it as well!
Golf Ball Shaped Ice Molds. I've seen several fun shaped ice molds, but never golf balls! These are obviously made for alcohol, but can be fun for non-drinkers too!
City Map Glasses. I got Nick some Dallas ones a couple Valentines ago and he loves them. They have tons of major cities. Get some from where you met, where you live, or maybe your favorite city to visit!
City Map Coasters. Coaster versions of the glasses above!
Leather Gloves. Leather gloves are classic and you can wear them until they wear out! These are the perfect manly look and also touchscreen capable.
Water Bottle Foam Roller. I thought this was really interesting! Such a great little two-in-one for the fitness guy!
Kitchen Gadget. I mean talk about versatility! Great for the grill master.
Minted Bison Art. Minted has a great selection of art - we have several of their prints! One Valentine's Day I had a painting done for Nick, of a polaroid of a favorite photo. He loved it and it hangs in our dining room!
Fellow Kettle. Nick is currently obsessed with the Fellow brand. They are a coffee company that makes exceptional products.
Pink Himalayan Salt Block. I first saw these in a store called Pirch. You basically cook your salmon, veggies, whatever, on it and the food gets the perfect salt flavoring!
L.L. Bean Leather Dopp Kit. Dopp kits are essential and this one is on the pricier side, but can be used for a lifetime,
Polar Fleece Quarter Zip. These are currently trending, so you can't go wrong it it!
Glasses and Keys Holder. I think this is just the cutest (er, maybe manly) thing and can help you always know where your keys are!
Fellow Pour Over Kit. Nick got this for Christmas and takes it on trips with us, because it guarantees that he has good coffee at all times. It's essentially a 1 cup pour over kit.
Mario Badescu Men's Grooming Kit. I recently got Nick the pre-shave and after shave to try and help his neck. He gets little red bumps, so I was going to see if this would help him. He's only been testing it for a week, so I'll let you know what he thinks later! This is a total grooming kit that has much more, so a fun little start kit to try and get the man in your life taking better care of his skin.
Herschel and Co. Dopp Kit. This is a cheaper option in comparison to the leather L.L. Bean. Still a good product, just a different style.
Wine Globe. I got Nick a wine globe a couple years ago, and it is a great staple in our living room! Globes are classy and this one is actually functional!
Leather Briefcase. Another gift I have gotten Nick before is a good leather bag. He uses it for work, as a carry-on, and for quick trips!
J. Crew Men's Travel Kit. Not sure how practical it is, just thought it was cute! Travel kits are always a good idea!
What's the best V-day gift you've ever received? Given? One of my favorites was the year Nick and I did a DIY Valentine's Day! We were required to make it in some way. It's truly about love, not about how much money you spend, so just put some thought into it and you'll be golden! Nick and I always stay in and cook dinner - it's my favorite!!
